Ayurveda
is an ancient holistic system of medicine from India. It is unique
in that it not only helps us to heal from disease, but also allows
us to know ourselves better so as to prevent disease from occurring
in the first place. This class was designed for those interested in
natural medicine and for health care practitioners looking to expand
their practice.
This
program will cover the following topics:
-An overview of Ayurveda and practical strategies for applying it
in your daily life.
-The three constitutional types-Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
-Understanding imbalances and working towards vitality.
-Herbs, Diet, Yoga, and Lifestyle therapy.
